This piece is part of a series of small original marbled works that I plan to sell indefinitely, as they are made, at a set, identical price. The current price is $275 per artwork. My goal in making these available directly through my website is to make my work — specifically these moments of concentrated and intense beauty, more easily accessible. 

I probably spend too much time thinking about what it's like to live with a piece of artwork that another human touched, looked at, and thought about as they made it. My position is that physical artworks retain and transmit touch, thought, and time, and that living with such artworks provides a bit of dignity, humanity, and beauty. An artwork that gives these qualities to a home never uses them up — an extraordinary thing to think about when many other things must be consumed to be enjoyed. 

I understand that pricing is relative, and what may be a bargain to one person is still far above another's price point. But I hope that they are still a way in to collecting, living with (and gifting) art.
